Family of Late Rapper AKA reveals the singer “Mass Country” album to be released as scheduled.
The late rapper AKA’s family and record company have confirmed that his anticipated album “Mass Country,” which was scheduled for release in February 2023, will go on as planned.
The family of well-known rapper AKA, who tragically passed unexpectedly, announced the release date of his awaited album “Mass Country” in an official press release.
According to the press announcement, the album will be released on Friday, February 24, 2023, as originally planned by AKA.
AKA had first mentioned that he would be releasing an album titled “Mass Country” on the 24th of February 2023 in a post on his social media platform on the 10th of January 2023, just before he passed away. His family and label have decided to go ahead with the release as originally planned, and this will be the rapper’s posthumous album.

The Nivo manager and co-executive producer of Mass Country stated:
“The team was extremely blessed to work so closely on this project with Kiernan. We spent a lot of time mapping out this roll out and creating all the content we have under his direction. Kiernan worked tremendously hard on this project.
He put his heart and soul into it, and we were blessed that Kiernan got the opportunity to map out this entire roll out and approve all the elements, so what will be coming out will be as per his direction and his vision. We thank the Forbes family for their faith in the entire team working on this project.”
Managing director at Sony Music Entertainment Africa, Sean Watson, revealed:
“Our hearts are broken. We’ve lost not only an icon but someone who was dear to us as a member of the Sony family. Our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones as we all traverse this difficult time of mourning the loss of a dearly beloved and respected artist.
