Burna Boy is about to unleash another award-winning studio album on ‘Love Damini’ self-expressive body of work.
The clock is ticking and we’re approaching the ‘Love Damini’ season; the atmosphere and spotlight are focused on the soon-to-be-born baby (album), Burna Boy’s album is clearly special to him, as evidenced by the title.
The first single has already become a global hit, receiving a massive response and charting in countries around the world, listed as the expected summer anthem, the song peaked 8 on the Billboard world digital song sales chart, worldwide among Apple music’s top 100 songs at 71 and spent 21 days on the chart, it also top number 1 in 5 countries, and top 10 in 22 countries, charting 48 countries on Apple music top 100 charts at the time of this post.
Burna Boy’s fifth studio album, Twice as Tall, is his fifth studio album. Spaceship Entertainment, Bad Habit, Atlantic Records, and Warner Music published it on August 14, 2020.
Burna Boy, American singer and songwriter Diddy, and Mama Burna Bose Ogulu served as executive producers on the album, which was recorded in 2020.
Afrobeats, Afrobeat, dancehall, pop, and hip hop are all represented on the album. Telz was the primary producer, with contributions from Rexxie, Timbaland, and DJDS, among others.
Youssou N’Dour, Naughty by Nature, Sauti Sol, Chris Martin, and Stormzy all make appearances on the album. “Wonderful,” the album’s first single, will be released on June 26, 2020.
Twice as Tall won Best Global Album at the 63rd Grammy Awards, however, given what his previous albums have accomplished, the expectations for his new album are far too high.
