The chart-topping record ‘Essence” by Afrobeat superstar, Wizkid has earned its first certification in the UK.
From reports Mp3bullet.ng gathered, “Essence” has earned Wizkid another certification as it was recently certified Silver in the UK.
The body in charge of music certifications in the UK, The BRIT Certified Platinum, Gold & Silver Awards formerly known as British Phonographic Industry took to their official Twitter page to announce that Wizkid’s Essence has been certified, Silver.
The song was certified Silver after makes sales of 200,000 units in the country.
This is coming months after Wizkid’s “Come Closer” was certified Gold in the Uk.

This isn’t the only feat Wizkid has achieved in the UK, he recently made history as the first Afrobeat artist to sell out a three-day event in the iconic O2 arena.
The event would run from 28th to 29th of November and continue on the 1st of December.
