Erik ten Hag provides a blunt answer when asked about Jadon Sancho.
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has provided a blunt answer and refused to give a detailed update on Jadon Sancho.
After moving from Borussia Dortmund to Old Trafford in the summer of 2021, the winger has had trouble regaining his form.
In an effort to sharpen and condition himself for the start of the club season, Sancho has recently been training in the Netherlands.
Ten Hag was questioned about Sancho on Sky Sports after United’s 2-0 victory on Wednesday night and stated ahead of United’s Carabao Cup match with Burnley that the 22-year-old is presently ineligible for selection.

When asked if there was any further update on Sancho, Ten Hag simply replied: “No.”
Sancho started life under Ten Hag promisingly, scoring in a 2-1 win against rivals Liverpool that kickstarted United’s season.
He was unable to keep up this form and was left out of England’s World Cup squad in 2022. Marcus Rashford, a teammate who also lost Gareth Southgate’s favor in the past year, was chosen to travel to Qatar and made a significant contribution to the Three Lions’ journey to the quarterfinals.
Next Tuesday, when Nottingham Forest comes to Old Trafford, United’s Premier League season will get underway.
