Erik Ten Hag Speaks on the Possibility of Manchester United Signing a Striker.
Erik Ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, has discussed the possibility of the Red Devils bringing in a striker. He has acknowledged that Manchester United are in the market for a new striker—but only if they can find the right one.
The boss says the club will attempt to bring in another forward, following the exit of last season’s top scorer Cristiano Ronaldo.
There have been requests from most supporters of United that a striker is needed at the club. However, Ten Hag agrees with their opinion but believes they must get the right man.
There will be many games to follow, so I think there is a need for a new striker. We need one who can have an impact, otherwise, you are just burning money and you don’t strengthen the squad.
The Red Devils were close to signing Coady Gakpo from the Netherlands but they got beaten to it by Liverpool.
