    Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Harry Maguire will not be available for the upcoming match against bitter rivals Liverpool at Anfield.

    Maguire suffered an injury during United’s midweek defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League, contributing to the team’s struggles this season. With Maguire unavailable, Ten Hag faces the challenge of trying to secure a positive result against Liverpool without the services of his central defender.

    The pressure is increasing on the manager as United continues to face difficulties on the field.

    “Harry is not available for the coming games, but we don’t think his injury will be long-term,” Ten Hag told his pre-match press conference, suggesting Maguire may also be missing for the upcoming games with West Ham United and Aston Villa.
