Emtee, a musician from South Africa, has recently become popular for all the wrong reasons. His name is accompanied by unpleasant news, from the abuse of women to drug misuse. He then cursed at a Twitter user who stated that he had nothing to his name these days, and now he is trending once more.
The incident began when someone posted an outdated picture of the house Emtee allegedly bought in 2019 but has since allegedly left for a flat in Midrand.
Emtee’s wife Nicole Chinsamy accused him of beating her up only a few weeks prior.
As social media users voiced their worries, a video of the two bickerings while she showed out her bruises became widely shared.
Reports surfaced shortly after the video circulated online that Nicole, who is seven months pregnant, had filed a complaint against him.
Many were concerned for the hitmaker whose career appeared to have declined recently.
A Twitter user posted a picture of the rapper’s house with the comment “4 years ago” on Sunday of last week.
“Elevated at his lavish 4.2 million dollar residence, Emtee is living in style and luxury,” he captioned a photo of the rapper outside a stunning property.
A social media user said that Emtee could no longer afford the residence and had only R50k left in his account following his message.
“He doesn’t even have R50K cash in the bank account.
