- Emtee gives up on winning Grammys and BET Awards
Mthembeni Ndevu, also known as Emtee, claims he has given up on his aspirations of receiving a prestigious international honour.
A triumph at a significant competition, especially one on an international scale, is the goal of the majority of musicians.
Ndevu, who formerly yearned for a BET and Grammy victory, claims he no longer gives a damn about them. Emtee claims that staying alive comes before receiving any accolades from other countries.
“@emteerecords is it still your dream to win a Grammy or Bet Award?” a fan questioned.
“Ah. I just wanna stay alive shem,” he wrote.

Another admirer expressed dismay with the rapper’s response, noting that many upcoming musicians are likely to look up to him.
The singer for the Pearl Thusi song reinforced his answer once more.
“I wanna stay alive bruh. Yall tripping! I’m a father of 3 now. I can do anything I put my mind to IF I’M ALIVE. Yall knows I almost lost my mind dealing with all these thieves, hooligans and sons of bitches who enjoy making my life a living hell,” he wrote.
