Emtee discusses his disappearance from the South African edition of Love and Hip Hop.
Rapper Emtee learned about the programme and said he intended to be a part of it. Last week saw the premiere of Love and Hip Hop SA, and it appears that more people than just regular TV watchers were tuning in.
“Mane I was supposed to be on this love n hip hop SA sh**. Bang’gabhile,” he tweeted, stating that “they” did him dirty by not including him in the show’s cast.

Love and Hip Hop, often known as Love & Hip Hop, is a docu-soap series produced by Paramount’s VH1 that tells the stories of rappers, producers, and other innovators attempting to make it big in the music industry while juggling personal and familial issues.
In Love and Hip Hop SA, MTV Africa promises to reveal more about the lives of some of South Africa’s favourite Hip Hop musicians. This is the first time the series has been broadcasted internationally.

“The local adaptation of the globally recognised reality show franchise will hold nothing back to bring the 411 on the latest in entertainment, and industry beef and drama,” promised MTV in a statement ahead of the show’s release.
On Monday, February 27, the first episode of Love and Hip Hop SA premiered, much to the dismay of those who thought the show needed something.
The network held a small watching event at the MTV Africa headquarters in Bryanston, Johannesburg.

Shamiso Mosaka and Naledi ‘Leddi G’ Radebe, members of the Paramount Culture Squad, emceed the event and hosted the cast of the show for a panel discussion about why they decided to join the cast and what viewers can expect from the show.
A few of the cast members of Love and Hip Hop SA include Da L.E.S, Fifi Cooper, Gigi Lamayne, J. Molley, Yanga, and Money Badoo.
