Nigerian sensational singer, Emma Nyra reacts after being slammed for allegedly supporting Hushpuppi.
The singer in a now-deleted post wrote that the reason why people are happened with what happened with Hushpuppi was that he was oppressing them on social media.
A lot of people are happy about what happened to Hushpuppi because he was oppressing them on social media. The truth is that rejoicing in his downfall is not gonna put money in your pocket. I’m tired of reading about someone else’s downfall. Let me jeje hustle my own.
However, some of her fans slammed her because they perceived she was supporting the socialite who was recently arrested by Dubai Police and FBI for fraud.
Emma Nyra later took to her Twitter Page top explain that she wasn’t supporting Hushpuppi but was only tired of reading news of his arrest.
She also said that people like her father who migrated to America would be put in the same box as cyber criminals thanks to people like Hushpuppi.
Meanwhile I NEVER said I was unhappy about his arrest. That’s the caption that Instablog gave you and you ran with it. I said I’m tired of reading about it. Of course his actions deserved the highest consequences. I never said otherwise. I said that I’m tired of reading about it

The problem is that I was confused that the same people asking him for money and envying his lifestyle are now laughing. Fraud is wrong on all levels and should be punished accordingly. The problem to me is everyone looking for saviors and heroes on the internet. https://t.co/COfjby6qNv

Men like my father who migrated to america to seek honest work as a pharmacist will now be labeled in the same box as hushpuppi because he’s Nigerian. That’s what I meant by his arrest is bad news because when I see him on the news in america all they say is Nigeria over & over

I genuinely apologize if I offended anyone. I never meant to do that. I simply meant that I’m tired of reading about it. Justice will be served when it comes to his case and understand that I would never defend his actions at all. I actually never did.
