Veteran Nigerian entertainer and rapper, Lanre Dabiri, also known as Eldee, has publicly disowned his Nigerian citizenship.
Eldee made the surprising admission when a fan appealed with him to lend his voice to Nigerians, Following the Twitter suspension and the UAR name saga.
The Fan who took to the Rapper’s comment section on social media stated that ElDee should air his opinions concerning the issues on ground instead of mocking Nigeria like he is doing.
He added Nigerians are his biggest fans and they are always vining to his songs, but the rapper has chosen to mock them in the days of their predicament.
Reacting to this, elDee informed the fan that he is not a Nigerian and he doesn’t want to be invoked in matters pertaining to Nigeria.

He claims that he is doing so because Nigerians have refused to be intelligent and do the right thing for once.
He noted that since they have refused to be wise, that he doesn’t want to be associated with the Country as he is now a US Citizen.
