Canadian superstar Drake has become the artist with the most songs, surpassing 1 billion streams on Spotify. Previously, Drake had tied with Justin Bieber at 15 songs when his hit collaboration with Chris Brown, ‘No Guidance,’ crossed the billion-stream mark.

Rihanna recently joined Drake and Bieber at the 15-song mark after her track ‘The Monster‘ with Eminem also surpassed 1 billion streams.

Drake has now surpassed both artists to hold the record for the most songs above 1 billion Spotify streams, with his hit ‘Hold On We’re Going Home‘ reaching the milestone.

Drake is poised to extend his record even further, as he has five songs with over 960 million Spotify streams. Notably, Blockboy JB’s ‘Look Alive,’ featuring Drake, is edging closer to the 1 billion mark with 983,712,956 streams.

Drake has been breaking records recently, becoming the first artist to reach 100 billion streams across all credits on Spotify, cementing his status as the biggest rapper in the world.

Following the release of his 8th solo album, ‘For All The Dogs,’ in 2023, Drake tied Michael Jackson’s record of 13 No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hits after his track ‘First Person Shooter’ featuring J. Cole topped the chart.

The Grammy winner also holds the record for the most No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 this century, breaking the tie of 13 albums he previously shared with Taylor Swift.

Among Drake’s biggest hits is his 2013 global single ‘One Dance’ featuring Wizkid and Kyla, which has over 3 billion streams, making it one of the most streamed songs of all time on Spotify.
