Don Jazzy and Davido pleaded with Nigerians to stay home as videos of Lagosians disregarding social distancing protocols went viral.
President Buhari had earlier the last two weeks given the directives to ease the lockdown in states affected by the coronavirus as from May 4th and Lagos State Governor, Sanwo-Olu also collaborated the president’s directives and laid down some ground rules.
The ground rules which included Social distancing, compulsory use of masks, curfews amongst others were totally disregarded as Lagosians came out in their thousands to go back to work.
Videos of crowds in banks, bus parks, and streets went viral causing Nigerians to fear that this could worsen the pandemic in the country.
Davido reacting to these videos said Nigerians are playing with fire by going out and they should remain indoors.
Don Jazzy also said that people who are going to these banking halls risk exposing themselves to the virus and going back to spread it.
Hmmm we are playing with fire …. let’s not jonze !!! Stay indoors we not outside please fam !!

See crowds and fights outside banks to enter the banking halls. My people, instead of going into the bank and increasing the chances of you getting exposed to the virus and also taking it back home to others…
