US President, Donald Trump has responded to Kanye West’s Presidential Bid.
President Trump was interviewed by reporters over the fact that Kanye West who used to be a supporter of his “Make America Great Again” movement might run against him in the Presidential election this 2020.
Donald Trump in response said it’s very interesting and told the reporters that Kanye West could go ahead.
“If he did it, he would have to view this as a trial run for what’s going to happen in four years,” The president said.
He noted the fact that it might be difficult for the “Ye” rapper to do so as he missed the chance to run as an independent contestant in many states.
West, who visited Trump in the Oval Office in 2018, rocking a trademark “Make America Great Again” red baseball cap, announced his presidential bid on Saturday, July 4.
Kanye West took to Twitter to announce that he would be running for the US presidential race for 2020. however, he has revealed no plans on how he is going to go about it.
