Donald foresees the demise of upcoming musicians
Renowned South African singer Donald has voiced his concerns about the potential downfall that many young artists might face in the future. As the Mzansi music industry witnesses a surge in new and youthful talent, Donald, with years of experience and consistent music releases, believes he holds insights into the inner workings of the game.
Expressing his discontent on Twitter, Donald criticized the lack of professionalism exhibited by these emerging artists. He cautioned that if they continue on this path, they are likely to encounter significant setbacks.
“In my industry, the biggest downfall of some of our young artists is the low level of professionalism. I’m afraid you’re not gonna go too far in this if you don’t take that part seriously. Show up, Arrive early, Communicate, Be patient, Be Respectful at all times. These are just a few important points to note,” he shared.
This isn’t the first time a seasoned artist, often referred to as an OG (original gangster), has warned emerging talents about the importance of professionalism, particularly in the context of gigs and performances. Donald’s words serve as a reminder to the younger generation to take their craft seriously and uphold a high standard of professionalism to thrive in the competitive music industry.
