Meanwhile, Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has broken his silence in response to recent remarks made by his colleague Wizkid, sparking controversy in the music industry.
Earlier today, on Monday, April 29, 2024, Wizkid ignited a firestorm with critical comments directed at Don Baba J. The Star Boy executive launched a verbal assault targeting not only the Mavin boss but also his signee, Ladipoe, and fellow Afrobeats star, Davido.
Wizkid labelled Don Jazzy as an “influencer” in response to a fan’s query about Ladipoe’s recent commentary on the Afrobeats genre.
In his retort, Big Wiz dismissed Ladipoe’s significance, asserting that he didn’t deserve attention as he was signed to an “influencer”—a reference to Don Jazzy.
Following the online altercation, a check on their Instagram profiles revealed that Don Jazzy has since unfollowed Wizkid.
