Don Jazzy Discloses Important Lesson He Discovered While Organizing mother’s Funeral
Heavyweight Nigerian producer and music business magnate Michael Collins Ajereh, better known by his stage name Don Jazzy, shared an important lesson he discovered while preparing for his mother’s funeral.
The Mavin Records CEO, who disclosed his mother’s death in the early hours of Saturday, July 23, 2022, has been doing well as the public continues to pray for him and his family during this difficult time.
Taking to his Instagram page on Friday, October 7th, 2022, the award-winning producer discussed on how much social media has made a lot of relationships completely different, a reality check he experienced when it was time to gather a list for relatives who were supposed to attend his mum’s burial.
He wrote:
Learnt a valuable lesson recently about how as much we think we see each other all the time on social media, we are actually so distant from each other. We are so out of touch with how our loved ones are really doing. We don’t call enough anymore to check up on ourselves. GOD forbid the only time we get to do that is when something bad happens. We can do better. So we made a beautiful song that could help you get in touch. This is a just a start.”

In a previous post, announced the date for the funeral ceremony of his mother.
The talented and highly recognised music producer, while sharing a video of the family meeting and rite, disclosed this week Friday, 7th of October 2022 as the date for the celebration of the life of his late mother.
In the video, the artiste’ family could be seen having a meeting, with a man, who seemed to be an elder of the family, offering words of prayer in what looked like a rite in the local dialect.
Coincidentally, Don Jazzy’s signee, Johhny Drille, is about to release a song produced by the Maestro.
The song, titled “How Are You My Friend”, scheduled to be released on Wednesday, October 12th, 2022, dwells on making a conscious effort to check up on loved ones, which allies with the valuable lesson Don Jazzy learnt after his mum’s passing. May her soul continue to rest well.
