Don Jazzy Reveals Why He Signs Producers, Songwriters To Mavins
Mavins founder, Don Jazzy has disclosed why he signs producers and songwriters and not just artistes.
Speaking in an exclusive with music journalist, Joey Akan, the don revealed music progresses and so he doesn’t believe an artiste can just do it all alone.
He noted it has been a tradition as he is not just signing producers. More so, Jazzy hinted at devising ways of carrying all of the workforces along, thereby getting due recognition.

“There are a lot of hands involved in the development/creative process of an artiste and there’s no artiste that can do it successfully without these creatives (producers and songwriters).
“At Mavin we definitely don’t believe in the illusion that an artiste just wakes up in the morning and is an artiste. There is a bunch of people that makes it possible for artistes to be who they are,” Don Jazzy stated.
