Nigerian music powerhouse and Mavin Records CEO, Don Jazzy, turned 43 on November 26th, 2025, and as expected, he marked the milestone in his usual playful, down-to-earth style.
The producer hopped on X (formerly Twitter) for a lighthearted Q&A session, giving fans a chance to throw questions at him, and of course, someone brought up the topic many still whisper about: his past marriage to Michelle Jackson.
Back in April 2021, Don Jazzy shocked fans when he opened up about a chapter of his life very few knew: his brief marriage. He explained that the union ended just two years after it began, largely because of his unstoppable drive and work-focused lifestyle.
So during today’s fan interaction, a curious follower decided to revisit the matter. The user, @kbabaa, nudged him with the suggestion: “Mk una reconcile again naa.”
Don Jazzy didn’t dodge the comment or sugarcoat anything. Instead, he calmly gave context that instantly ended the discussion. In his words: “She don re marry.”
A simple, direct response and one that quietly closed the door on any hopes of reconciliation. It also reminded fans that both he and Michelle have moved on in different directions.
Still, the exchange added an emotional tint to Don Jazzy’s birthday celebration, showing once again why many admire him: he remains honest, open, and willing to let fans into his world even on topics he rarely talks about.
