Don Jazzy gives N500K to struggling student who asked for a hug.
Nigerian renowned artist Michael Collins Ajereh, known professionally as Don Jazzy, gifted a student 500 thousand naira after lamenting his scholastic troubles.
The student complained that school had gotten too challenging and that everything felt like a battle in a message to the head of Mavin Records.
The unnamed student continued, “I’m at my breaking point right now and I need a hug from Don Jazzy.”
“Currently going through it at school. Almost at my breaking point with literally everything. I need a big hug,” the student wrote.
Don Jazzy expressed his sympathy for the student and asked if receiving 500 thousand naira would be enough ‘hug’ for her.
He apologized to the student for having responded to her messages so late and instructed her to send her account number to him if she thought that would be sufficient.
