It hurts – Don Jazzy opens up on not having a partner
Nigerian music mogul Don Jazzy has shared his feelings about being single, admitting that it’s a source of emotional pain for him.
The music producer took to Instagram on November 18, 2024, to lament his inability to join the trending “suspect challenge” on social media due to his lack of a partner.
“Suspect wants to do a suspect challenge but no suspect partner, okay goodnight,” Don Jazzy wrote in his post, adding in the caption, “it hurts.”
The post quickly sparked reactions from fans and followers, with many taking a humorous approach.
Social media personality Solomon Buchi joked, “Suspect has many in his DM but he dey ignore them.” Another fan quipped, “Suspect still dey wait for Rihanna,” referencing Don Jazzy’s long-standing admiration for the Barbadian singer.

This isn’t the first time Don Jazzy has been open about his relationship status. In April 2021, the award-winning producer surprised many when he revealed that he had been married at the age of 20 to an American model, Michelle Jackson. However, the marriage ended just two years later due to his deep commitment to pursuing a career in music.
Earlier this year, in June 2024, Don Jazzy addressed questions about his single status, admitting that he was focusing on personal growth. “I dey work on myself, so that when my head correct, my babe go enjoy me,” he said in response to a fan’s query about why he wasn’t yet married.
While fans continue to tease him about his celebrity crush on Rihanna, Don Jazzy’s openness about his journey with love and relationships has endeared him even more to his supporters.
