Don Jazzy shares why he refused to let Rema feature on ‘Overdose.’
Michael Collins Ajereh, best known as Don Jazzy, the Chief Executive Officer of Mavin Records, has addressed why Rema was not featured on the Mavin hit song Overdose.
The music producer stated that Rema was purposefully left out of the song, which also contains Crayon, Ayra Starr, Boy Spyce, and Magixx.
Don Baba J remarked in a Cool FM interview that he wanted fans to embrace the talented news signees wholeheartedly and that having Rema on the tune would have prevented that.
According to the record label boss, Rema’s inclusion in the song would have made all the attention to be on him considering the name he has already made for himself in the music industry.
Don Jazzy further stated that he tries to keep the new artists away from collaborations so they can stand out.

In his words;
“He is going to be on other tracks. Johnny Drille too. There is a full Mavin album on the way. For now let’s listen to Overdose”
