Don Jazzy debunks rumors of Rema’s exit from Mavins Records
Nigerian music producer and CEO of Mavins Records, Don Jazzy, has dismissed rumors that popular singer Rema has terminated his contract with the label.
Rumors had circulated that Rema had parted ways with Mavins and its affiliate, Jonzing World, owned by Don Jazzy’s brother, D’Prince.
To subtly address these rumors, Don Jazzy took to social media and posted a picture of himself, Rema, and Mavins’ Chief Operating Officer, Tega Oghenejobo, with the caption “Mavins in Paris.”
This post came after Rema performed at the Yardland Festival in Paris, France, on July 7, 2024, alongside other Nigerian acts like Odumodublvck.
By sharing the photo, Don Jazzy implied that Rema remains a part of the Mavins Records family, putting to rest any speculation about his departure. This move has reassured fans of the label and Rema’s music, confirming that the talented singer is still under the Mavins umbrella.
This development marks a significant clarification in the Nigerian music industry, as rumors of Rema’s exit had generated considerable buzz. With Don Jazzy’s statement, it is clear that Rema remains an integral part of the Mavins Records team.
