Citing Davido, Don Jazzy urges colleagues to market projects.
Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy has challenged Nigerian artists to emulate Davido when it comes to promoting their projects.
For his recently released fourth studio album, “Timeless,” Davido has been touring the media circuit in the US.
Don Jazzy encouraged other Nigerian performers to follow in the singer’s footsteps while praising his music promotion techniques for his most recent album.
The head of Marvin claimed that despite being an established musician, Davido did not just sit back but instead actively promoted his record.
In the same way that OBO has been pushing Timeless on his social media platforms, he asked the musicians to start advertising their albums.
The Marvin boss said Davido didn’t sit back because he was already an established artist, instead, he is promoting his album vigorously.
In a tweet on Monday, Don Jazzy wrote, “Dear artists, I hope you can see how Davido is marketing his album. He didn’t form oh I’m OBO so everybody will cop my shit. Marketing your beautiful project that you worked hard on does not reduce your swag.”
