Doja Cat receives the most nominations for the 2022 BET Awards.

American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, known professionally as Doja Cat, has become the most nominated artist for the 2022 BET Awards.
Recall, Mp3bullet.ng reported that The organizers of the BET Awards have announced the full list of nominees ahead of the event scheduled to take place on the 27th of June 2022 at 1 a.m. West Africa Time.
The 2022 BET Awards are right around the corner, and Doja Cat is looking to add more hardware to her collection.
BET announced the nominees for this year’s ceremony on Wednesday (June 1), and she becomes the most nominated artist with six nominations.
Doja is nominated for best female hip hop artist, best female R&B/pop artist, the album of the year, BET Her for “Woman,” video of the year, and best collaboration for “Kiss Me More,” which features SZA.

Doja Cat is also this year’s only artist to be nominated in both R&B/pop and Hip Hop categories.
While the 26-year-old star leads the way with six nominations, Drake follows right behind her with four nominations.
On the other hand, Baby Keem, Silk Sonic, Chlöe, Future, H.E.R., Jazmine Sullivan, Ye (formerly Kanye West), Kendrick Lamar, Lil Baby, Mary J. Blige and Tems each received three nominations.
For album of the year, Doja will be going head-to-head with H.E.R.’s “Back of My Mind” and Kanye West’s “Donda”, all of which were nominated in the same category at the 2022 Grammy Awards.
Tyler the Creator and Jazmine Sullivan will also be stepping up to the plate in that category with Call Me If You Get Lost and the deluxe version of Heaux Tales, respectively.
