Davido’s Timeless album has made history as it recently hit 100M streams on the music app, Boomplay after nineteen of being released.
The goodness was announced by his fan page, thedavidodailyshow on Instagram. According to findings by mp3bullet.n, “Timeless‘ now becomes the fast Nigerian album to achieve such a feat within a short period.
It wasn’t too long ago when the album amassed 10,000,000 streams on the music app.
Since its release on the 31st of March, ‘Timeless’ recorded 1 million streams in less than six hours and inched up in its streak to 5 million streams in about 16 hours after its arrival, making it the first album to achieve this new and historic feat on Boomplay.

In the meantime, Davido has revealed why he did not pay a song tribute to his late son, Ifeanyi on his recently released studio album, ‘Timeless‘.
The singer, who organized a press conference yesterday to announce his preparedness for his forthcoming concert at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) explained he did not want any sad songs on the project.
He stated that his main goal was to release a classic album with minimal or no emotional songs to prevent fans from becoming emotional following the loss of his son.
He explained that he has always been a happy person, regardless of what he may be going through and if sad songs are to come, then it will be an entirely different project on its own as he never had plans of combining them.
In the said press conference, Mp3bullet disclosed the singer’s plans to unveil a deluxe version of his recent project, which also serves as his fourth studio album later this Year.
