DJ Zan-D advises DJs struggling to get gigs
DJ Zan-D provides guidelines to DJs who are having trouble landing gigs. The DJ chose to provide advice on his Twitter page in order to assist other DJs who are having a hard time.
These DJs were urged by Zan to continue honing their art. DJ Zan-D advises that you should establish friends with other DJs so that you can connect with them more effectively.

“Sometimes it takes longer for other people to make it, keep practising and working on your craft so that by the time the right people see/hear you play you’re so hot they can’t ignore you,” he wrote.
“Make friends with other DJs and like-minded people, especially people who have done it longer than you. It’s easier for those guys to plug you compared to people who are on the same level as you because you are all fighting for the same space.”
Meanwhile, DJ Zan also suggested performing for free.

“Practice, Practice, Practice They say talent alone won’t help you make it but trust me; when it comes to Djs, talent will definitely put you ahead,” he added.
Make sure you don’t over charge… don’t rush into charging huge amounts. Promoters are easily turned off especially if your brand is not that strong yet.
