South African music heavyweight and Afrotainment boss, DJ Tira, is back with a brand-new EP release, ‘IZINSIMBI ZA MAKOYA’, following the remarkable success of his previous project, Khuphuka, which has officially achieved Gold status.
A true pioneer of Durban’s gqom and house scene, DJ Tira continues to prove his staying power with every release. ‘Khuphuka’ not only dominated airwaves and playlists nationwide but also showcased his ability to merge traditional gqom beats with fresh collaborations, further solidifying his role as one of the country’s most influential hitmakers.
Building on this momentum, the new EP promises a blend of signature gqom energy, soulful hooks, and dancefloor-ready anthems, while introducing fans to rising voices from the Afrotainment stable.
Collaborations also feature prominent musicians such as Pcee, Zee Nxumalo, Tipcee and Naak, just to name a few. As always, DJ Tira continues his mission to uplift talent while pushing South African music onto global stages.
