In anticipation of his forthcoming album, “Grace“, DJ Spinall was interviewed by media personality, Ovie on Twitter where he shared details about the project.
DJ Spinall who recently unveiled the tracklist of “Grace” expressed that there were some artists he is disappointed couldn’t make it for one reason or the other.
The Disc Jockey shared the inspiration behind the name of the album attributing it to his career success, saying it is nothing short of grace.

He revealed that the pandemic was an instrument in the production of the album as he was able to get somethings done.
“Yes, I produced ‘Tonight’ ft. Omah Lay while I was in the US. I also shot the video for ‘Everytime’ ft Kranium in California. The Pandemic helped the process. I produced most of the sounds while I was out there. This album took about a year plus”

He revealed how he had to take a break from music production to help promote the producers he signed to his label ‘The Cap Music’.
However, for this project, the producer side of him sprung up. He also expressed that he doesn’t intend to go into singing or rapping because he enjoys collaborations.
“I can’t do it all. I cherish the idea of collaborations. It looks easy sometimes but it’s HARD. However I have co written a lot of popular records that ain’t even mine. I also recommend sounds to a lot of artist for their personal projects as well but they won’t tell you o Lool”

Then on the missing big names on his album, Spinall said;
“The sound most times directs me on the route to go. I’m also disappointed Davido, Baddo & Terri didn’t make it. I tried and tried but just couldn’t get them cleared before the time of release but the records are all fire & will be out soon God willing”

He also spoke on working with rising acts on the album;
“Tobi Adey is a super talent. The other talents aren’t new are not new any more but I’m grateful I got to work with Shaybo, Crayon, Fireboy, Oxlade, Omah Lay, Minz, Bella Schmurda, Dice & Tobi Adey for the first time.”

When asked if he intends on signing any new artist to the Cap Music, he said;
“I do really want to sign artist. I have a couple I have been working with closely lately. I’m still listening & hopefully soon.”
