DJ Sbu minimises conflict
Following Sizwe Dhlomo’s answer to his request to rejoin the SABC, DJ Sbu dismisses rumours of a feud. After being fired from Metro FM years ago, the DJ recently stated his wish to return to SABC in order to serve his country.
“Even if it’s not too much money, for the right commercial deal, I’ll definitely go back to the SABC, and go serve my country,” he said.
SBU’s assertion was mocked by Dhlomo with the line, “Working at SABC isn’t serving the country”.
“Lol! Working at SABC is not “serving”, says Sizwe.
Sbu says he loves the radio host and doesn’t worry too much about his statement in response to the snide remarks that gave rise to beef rumours.
Sbu asserts that because he hustles while Sizwe works for someone else, they are both on distinct paths.
“I got nothing against Sizwe. I love him, and he is my brother. He’s done really well for himself, but Sizwe is an employee, you know what I mean. I and him are different. I built things. So when you are gonna have an opinion about a hustler, you will not understand how he moves when you are an employee and getting a big fat check at the end of every month,” he said.
