Popular American Music executive, DJ Khaled, has approved Nigerian music star, Wizkid’s latest single, ‘Essence Remix,’ which features Justin Bieber and Tems.
On the 13th of August 2021, Wizkid released the remix of his big hit ‘Essence,’ an Afrobeats song from his iconic ‘Made in Lagos‘ album. It features Justin Bieber of Canada and Tems of Nigeria, who was in the original version.
Nigerians proceeded to praise Wizkid after the release for capturing this feature.
The veteran DJ Khaled, who is known for executive producing great, chart-topping albums in the past, has praised the remix, which is already topping charts and gaining views.
DJ Khaled has already reposted the song twice.
The original song, which featured Tems, was well-received before the release of the remix. It remained at the top of several charts for several weeks.

The remix is also doing well, having surpassed over one million streams on various streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.
Furthermore, it also hit one million views on Youtube in less than 24 hours.
