DJ Cuppy teases new song after four year hiatus
After a four-year break, Nigerian artist DJ Cuppy is making a comeback in the music scene with an upcoming release.
DJ Cuppy is gearing up for the launch of her first musical project in nearly four years. Recently, she teased a snippet online, hinting at what’s to come.
The affluent heiress disclosed that her forthcoming song will hit the airwaves on March 22, 2024. This announcement follows her earlier plea for patience from fans as she honed her musical craft.
Renowned for her chart-topper “Jollof on the Jet” from her debut album “Original Copy,” DJ Cuppy hinted at the essence of her new composition through a snippet. In this excerpt, she pledges various luxuries to a romantic interest, including a house and a car, while encouraging them to accompany her home. The title of the upcoming song remains undisclosed.

Recall, Mp3bullet reported Cuppy had requested time from her fans as she aimed to refine her music skills, and now it appears that she might be receiving guidance from YBNL label boss and singer, Olamide, also known as Baddo.
Olamide is well-known for discovering and promoting talents such as Zlatan Ibile, Bella Shmurda, Fireboy DML, Asake, Lil Kesh, Portable, and more.
Cuppy, who recently began promoting her previous song “Jollof on Jet,” shared a photo with Olamide on her Instagram story on Monday, January 8, 2024, announcing her return to the studio in 2024.
In her caption, she stated, “Back in the studio in 2024.”
It seems that Cuppy, who had previously expressed interest in being a backup singer for Olamide’s protege Asake, might have a new track in the works that could feature the YBNL boss. With Olamide’s influence, the billionaire’s daughter may find her footing in the music industry this time around.
