DJ Cuppy Speaks on Distancing from Certain People for Growth

Popular Nigerian disc jockey Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, widely known as DJ Cuppy, has spoken about the necessity of stepping away from certain people to foster personal growth and maintain inner peace.

Sharing her thoughts via her Instagram stories, the billionaire heiress reflected on “fasting from people” and how it has shaped her journey. She revealed that she had to cut ties with some individuals, while others chose to walk away. Despite initial apprehension, she admitted that the change proved beneficial in the long run.

“Fasting from certain people is important… Not everyone is good for you, and sometimes, distance is the best thing you can do for yourself,” DJ Cuppy stated. “I’ve removed certain people from my life, or they left me… it was scary at first, but honestly, I feel like I’ve progressed so much because of it.”

She further emphasized the importance of protecting one’s peace, clarifying that prioritizing self-care is not an act of selfishness but a crucial step toward personal well-being. “Protecting your peace isn’t selfish o, it’s necessary,” she added.

Cuppy’s message has since resonated with many of her fans, sparking conversations about self-care, personal boundaries, and the power of choosing peace over unnecessary relationships.
