Popular Nigerian disc jockey and billionaire heiress DJ Cuppy has expressed frustration over being labeled ‘old’ at just 32 years old.

Taking to social media, Cuppy lamented how netizens constantly pressure her about settling down, implying that she is not getting any younger.

“I am 32 years old, and some people are calling me old. If that is the case, what are we calling people in their 40s? Prehistoric? Fossilized? Nawa.”

Her statement has sparked mixed reactions, with some defending her stance and others reinforcing societal expectations around marriage and age.

Regardless, Cuppy remains vocal about living life on her terms, frequently sharing her personal experiences and challenges with societal expectations.

Recall, DJ Cuppy spoke about the necessity of stepping away from certain people to foster personal growth and maintain inner peace.

Sharing her thoughts via her Instagram stories, the billionaire heiress reflected on “fasting from people” and how it has shaped her journey.

She revealed that she had to cut ties with some individuals, while others chose to walk away. Despite initial apprehension, she admitted that the change proved beneficial in the long run.

“Fasting from certain people is important… Not everyone is good for you, and sometimes, distance is the best thing you can do for yourself,” DJ Cuppy stated. “I’ve removed certain people from my life, or they left me… it was scary at first, but honestly, I feel like I’ve progressed so much because of it.”
