DJ Cuppy mourns the loss of her maternal grandmother
Nigerian billionaire heiress and disc jockey, DJ Cuppy, took to social media to announce the passing of her maternal grandmother, fondly referred to as Grandma Kaduna.
In a heartfelt post on X, DJ Cuppy expressed her gratitude to God for her grandmother’s life, acknowledging the significant impact she had on her mother and, by extension, herself.
DJ Cuppy shared fond memories of her grandmother on her Instagram story, posting pictures of herself with Grandma Kaduna and another of her mother and grandmother together.
In her X post, she wrote: “My mummy’s mother has passed away. I’m finding comfort knowing she’s in heaven, looking down on us with love. What a life she lived!”
The artist praised her grandmother’s influence on her mother, saying, “I’m SO grateful for the way she shaped my mum, who then shaped me.” DJ Cuppy also offered prayers for her family during this difficult time, affirming her trust in God’s goodness.
Grandma Kaduna’s passing has left a void in the lives of her loved ones, but her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched, including that of her beloved granddaughter, DJ Cuppy.
