Currently, the world has been experiencing troubled times from the coronavirus pandemic to worldwide protests on racism and Police Brutality. Even Nigeria is not left out, as the conversation on everyone’s lips is either on the issue of rape or Police Brutality.

These issues are stealing the shine from artists who intend on dropping their songs which have caused most artists to rethink dropping their songs.

However DJ Cuppy is of another opinion, the new Apple Radio host believes that Artists should not hold back from dropping their songs.

According to her, their songs can be a source of healing to people being affected emotionally or physically by these issues.

With everything going on, I know so many Nigerian artists that are nervous to drop music right now (I felt the same way)… But please DROP your art- you never know, your musical gift could heal someone today! 🎶🎵 #CuppyDat
