The Nigerian music industry has witnessed growth on a jet speed ever since the intervention of the likes of p square,donjazzy, d’banj, wande coal only to mention a few with the introduction of afro pop to the game. We have experienced the rise of artists like wiz kid, choc boys and so on. This time arond we are introducing another shocker, Oladipupo Olufowora with stage name,DEEPEE. He started his career as a dancer and then moved to church to develop his vocal abilities and on the long run ended up as a seasoned dancer, guitarist and singer who blows peoples’ minds with the sound of his sonorous voice coupled with the guitar.
Deepee is also a song writer who has written songs and done vocal backups for top artists in the industry. This time around he is coming up with his first major release titled SHEKERE, Produced by Kue Bounce of Trybe records. Shekere is of the afro pop genre and is about to hit the streets and clubs real hard..Check out this new tune.
