Arsenal look set to once again be one of the Premier League’s biggest spenders in the transfer market this summer.
The Gunners have already sealed the £65m signing of Kai Havertz from Chelsea, with the German signing a contract that makes him the highest-earner at the Emirates. Mikel Arteta sealed top target Declan Rice, with talks with West Ham a record £105m transfer.
The midfielder will be joined at the Gunners by Ajax defender Jurrien Timber. Arsenal have agreed a fee with the Dutch giants and it appears only a matter of time before the defender links up with Arteta’s squad, too.
