D’Banj visits Lagos Governor ahead of new album release
Nigerian music icon D’Banj paid a courtesy visit to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the State House on Thursday, August 15, 2024. The visit took place just a day before the release of his highly anticipated album, “The Entertainer: D’Sequel,” which dropped today, August 16, 2024.
D’Banj shared highlights of his meeting with the Lagos State Governor on social media, expressing his gratitude for the opportunity to present his album. He also acknowledged the presence of Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat and his brother, Sipho Dlam, who accompanied him to the meeting.
In his caption, D’Banj reflected on the significance of Lagos in his music journey, stating, “Lagos has always been at the heart of my music journey, and I’m grateful for the continued support.”
