D’banj has come on Twitter to share his thoughts on the effect of the lockdown on the Music Industry and how it will survive without shows.
D’banj said he loves how people are keeping themselves busy with challenges trending on the Internet, saying it shows who we are, what we have and what we can do.
He said that what worries him the most is how the creative Industry which includes Music, Film, Comedy and the rest will survive Financially without Shows and physical performances.
Since the Coronavirus became a pandemic, it has affected shows and concerts leading to shows either being cancelled or postponed.
As performing or organizing shows is how most creatives survive, D’banj‘s fear is understandable.
Nigerian artists whose shows had to be cancelled or postponed because of the Coronavirus pandemic includes Davido, Teni, Asa, Seun Kuti amongst others.
I love the challenge circulating the internet ,it reminds us who we are, what we have and what we can do but with this whole pandemic going on I’m a bit concerned about how the CREATIVE INDUSTRY is going to cover up the losses brought up by the lack of shows, physical performance
