Veteran musicians D’Banj and 2Baba linked up to perform at the Wingist Network First Anniversary in Abuja in what could be dubbed as a night of legends.
On Tuesday, July 6th, 2021, D’Banj shared photographs of himself on stage with 2Baba in Abuja via his Instagram profile.
He disclosed that he had a good time at the Wingist Network’s first anniversary last week, inviting fans to guess who he performed with. He penned the following:
“Had so much fun last weekend at the Wingst Network One year Anniversary @wingst_restaurant . Guess who I performed with….. ????????????????????????. Answer —- Next Slide ????????????????????????????????????”

Fans would be ecstatic to see D’Banj and 2Baba play together in Abuja, as they were the two Nigerian music powerhouses from the early 2000s till far into the decade.
It’s amazing they didn’t record a song together until ‘Baecation‘ in 2019. Although, a year prior, Larry Gaaga had brought the two giants together on a song called ‘Baba Nla,’ which also features Burna Boy.
