Davido’s elder brother and owner of HKN Records, Adewale Adeleke, and Samklef disagree with each other on who a record label should make money for.
Samklef reacting to Cynthia Morgan and Jude Okoye saga said it was the duty of a Record label to make money for the artistes signed under them.
He gave his reason for his stance is because the artist need to be in the right frame of mind to be creative but instead, record labels act like they are doing the artist a favor.
Adewale replied to him that he disagrees saying that Record Label makes money for themselves and not for the artist. Adding that a record label is a business that needs to make a profit to grow.
