    Davido’s latest single, ‘Awuke,’ featuring Jamaican star YG Marley, has soared to the top of the TurnTable Top 100, debuting at No. 1 for the chart week of November 1–7, 2024.

    Released on October 31, ‘Awuke‘ marks Davido’s first official single of 2024 and the beginning of a new chapter for the award-winning artist, known for his chart-topping hits.

    The TurnTable Top 100, Nigeria’s premier aggregate music chart, draws data from TV, radio, and streaming platforms. Awuke’s impressive debut cements YG Marley’s first No. 1 in Nigeria, making him the eighth artist to achieve their first chart-topping single in collaboration with Davido.

    Other artists who earned their first No. 1 hits through Davido include Nicki Minaj, Mayorkun, Teni, Skiibii, BoyPee, Hyce, and Brown Joel.

    Remarkably, ‘Awuke‘ is only the third track to reach the No. 1 spot on TurnTable Top 100 without being available on all major streaming platforms, following Gyakie and Omah Lay’s ‘Forever remix‘ and Wizkid’s ‘Piece of My Heart‘ featuring Brent Faiyaz.

    This latest achievement also marks Davido’s third No. 1 song of 2024, following his successful appearances on the remixes of Kizz Daniel’s ‘Twe Twe‘ and BoyPee, Hyce, and Brown Joel’s ‘Ogechi.’ With Awuke, Davido now boasts nine No. 1 songs on the TurnTable Top 100, underscoring his lasting influence and continued dominance in Nigerian music.
