Davido Withdraws from Upcoming London Concert at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium Over Creative Disagreements

Nigerian music superstar Davido has officially announced that he will no longer perform as a headline act at the upcoming concert, which is scheduled for July 3, 2025, at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
The show, which also features 50 Cent and Mary J. Blige, will proceed without Davido, who cited issues surrounding the event’s organisation.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday, June 14, the singer expressed his disappointment, revealing that despite “strong fan support and impressive ticket sales,” there were major misalignments with the promoters, The Necto Future Group, regarding the execution of his performance.
While he assured fans that the show would continue, Davido emphasized his commitment to delivering only performances that meet his standards. He also promised to return to London soon and confirmed that his remaining summer shows in Germany, Portugal, Belgium, Canada, and the US would continue as planned.
