The DMW boss beats Diamond Platnumz, Wizkid & Burna Boy to win best African Entertainer at the 2022 Ghana Entertainment Awards USA.
Nigerian Award-winning artist David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has been named the best African entertainer at the 2022 Ghana Entertainment Awards USA.
The 4th Ghana Entertainment Awards USA was held on Friday night, July 8 into the early hours of Saturday, July 9, 2022. The event marks its return from a two-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The main aim of GEA USA is to showcase the accomplishments of Ghanaian artists and entertainers who thrive in a variety of fields both inside and outside of Ghana.

The event also uses the platform to celebrate and promote Ghanaian talents.
The event was held in the BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center in New York this year. Davido won the prestigious award over Diamond Platnumz, Broda Shaggi, Burna Boy, Funke Akindele, Sydney Talker, Nasty Black, Focalistic, Pearl Thusi, Tems, Wizkid, and Oduma Essan.
