David Adeleke, best known by his stage name Davido, is concerned about the depreciation of the Nigerian naira.
He bemoaned the country’s currency’s continued depreciation, noting that the Naira now trades between N590-N610 per dollar.
Davido predicted that, with the current rate of depreciation, the Naira would be worth N1,000 to $1 in no time.
The singer stressed the need for drastic action to be taken by the relevant authorities charged with economic policies and implementation.
He wrote; ‘‘Dollar heading to 1k Drastic action is needed”

For some days now, many entrepreneurs have continued to lament over the pains in the exchange rate and many social media users have affirmed Davido’s statement saying it’s the sad truth but the government are more concerned about the 2023 election.
