Davido Teases Unreleased Tracks and Star-Studded Collaborations at Pre-Album Concert in New York
Afrobeats megastar Davido is building major anticipation for his forthcoming fifth studio album, 5ive, set to drop on April 18, 2025.
At a vibrant pre-release concert in New York, the five-time Grammy nominee treated fans to electrifying live performances of unreleased tracks, including a much-anticipated collaboration with Victony and South African hitmaker Musa Keys.
The New York showcase comes hot on the heels of his Nigerian album listening party and a revealing appearance on Santi’s livestream, where Davido opened up about the inspiration behind the album’s title, describing the project as “straight from the heart.”

Ahead of the album launch, Davido has already rolled out a trio of singles, giving fans a taste of what’s to come:
- ‘Awuke’ featuring Jamaican dancehall sensation YG Marley
- ‘Funds’ featuring Nigerian stars Chike and OdumoduBlvck
- ‘Be There Still, ’ an Amapiano-infused banger blending Pidgin and English lyrics
