Afrobeats megastar Davido has revealed that what truly resonates with him in life goes far beyond riches and recognition.

In a recent interview, the singer was asked what he wishes people would ask him more often. His response highlighted the value he places on genuine care and simple human connection.
“How are you? Because you’ll just be stressed out. Just the little things. People just asking you how are you and then having 5 to 10 minutes talks could do a lot. I obviously don’t want your money. ’Cause I’m up, you know. It’s just the little things that count,” Davido said.
According to him, those short moments of conversation and concern often mean far more than money or material gestures, especially during times when the pressures of fame become overwhelming.
The singer noted that while he is financially secure, being able to speak his mind and feel heard during those few minutes can have a lasting impact.
Davido’s remarks shed light on the human side of superstardom, reminding fans that even global icons crave the simplicity of being asked a sincere, “How are you?”
