    Nigerian Singer, Davido shared the lovely note he wrote to his mom, Veronica Adeleke when he was a teen.

    Davido on the 13th of January dropped a picture of an old picture of him and his mother and another picture of an old letter he wrote after she passed away.

    In the letter, he addressed her as ‘sweet mother’ and said he loved her so much and how much love she gave to him.

    He said that despite his stubbornness, she was always there to correct him. He revealed that he missed her warm hugs, lovely kisses, and lovely smiles.

    He called her a rare mother and that she was one in a million. Then he concluded the letter with the assurance that she would always be on his mind.

    Davido’s mother, Veronica Imade Adeleke who was born in the year 1963 and was a lecturer at Babcock University before her death.

    Its also said that the mother of Davido loved her son so much that she named her music band after her son, David’s Band, and also named a security company she owned as well, as David Company.

    Dr. Veronica Imade Adeleke sadly was found dead in her room the next morning after her husband’s 40th birthday, she died at the age of 39.

    Davido was barely 11 years at the time of her death.
