DMW boss, Davido shared the hilarious story of how Tekno gave him the hit song, “If”.
Davido in an interview with Ebuka revealed he is forever grateful to Tekno for giving him the song, “If” which was pivotal to his career.
He said that he had been without a hit song for a year and Tekno reached out to him that he had a song for him.
According to the “Fem” singer, he didn’t take Tekno seriously and went about partying but one day at a club, Tekno came to drag him out and take him to the studio where he recorded his version of the song.
He said that “If” has a Tekno version which is the original version.
